About the Program

Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth 11 through 17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. No previous scouting background (Cub Scouts for example) is required. Those already involved in Cub Scouts may become Scouts if they have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 years old.

Troop 25 is a local unit of the Scouts BSA program, which serves boys from the Dracut area and beyond. At this time, we are only able to accept boys into our troop, but there are a number of other Scouts BSA troops in the area for girls. Need something more local? We are currently exploring the possibility of forming a separate troop for girls based out of Dracut. If that sounds like something that would interest you, please email clangkopf@troop-25.org

NOT OLD ENOUGH? NO PROBLEM!

Cub Scouts is a year-round program for boys and girls in kindergarten through 5th grade – and their families. Cub Scouting offers fun activities that promote character and leadership development. The program is designed to be hands-on, and parents are encouraged to play an active role in our programs. Scouting embraces the outdoors through camping, hiking, and water sports. They also focus on helping our communities through service projects, STEM development, and building confident kids through our wide range of activities.

We work closely with Pack 80 Dracut with events and other functions. They are based out of the same place we have meetings (Christ Church United). Consider looking into their Cub Scout Program: https://dracutpack80.wixsite.com/home
